With discovery mood, hunger for adventures, open minds and hearts we started our day 1 in Bali.

Temperature: 30'C. Humidity: 93%. Sky: clear blue. Waves: 0.9-1.4m.

After waking up in a new reality there are things you just know. One of them is the fact that the first thing you wanna see is the sea. We were hoping to take a little walk but apparently nobody walks in Bali. First lesson learned. We used a magical app called Gojek and took a ride downtown.

After taking a walk on the seaside and few conversations with locals about how we can or cannot surf, we reached our first lunch point called Warunk Cuci Mata. Food was great. Banana-mango juice even greater.

In the afternoon we decided to take a look at the local market. Sadly pandemics left this place empty and asking for tourist's attention. After a short round we came back to our wonderful hotel, took a little nap and swimmed in the rooftop pool by the sunset. Time to check if jetlag is a real thing.
