Day 2. Jetlag hit us seriously. We woke up at 2pm. Not very proud of it, but we decided to go with the flow and use the rest of the day actively. That's where the story with crazy thieves begins.

We took a taxi and went to Uluwatu Temple, a place occasionally called 'Monkey Island' (only by Miguel to be honest, but really full of monkeys). After losing a card in ATM we got the tickets, some fancy clothes and started our visit.

Our great attitude for those little humanlike animals changed slightly with the advice given by the guide holding slingshot in his hand 'Hide everything valuable and remember the moment those monkeys attack you, just run fast. This group is really wild'. Well hearing that gives you a type of mindset.
But we are brave people so we bravely took a path to the cliff and believe me or not, seeing this cute little baby animal looking at you has pretty much the same effect as seeing a puppy but the moment of melting your heart lasts way shorter in this case.

We decided to take a picture and it took seconds to already see in their eyes that something is going to happen. And so it did, one of the nice monkeys grabbed P.'s leg and tried to steal the flipflop! But luckily here comes the hero to rescue a girl in danger. Thank God for Spaniards.
During the tour we've been witnesses to two other crimes and many attacks. One monkey stole glasses from a girl. The other one thrown a coconut and almost hit a guy. Sneaky, unpredictable and wild creatures waiting on the sides of pavements for a moment you look away to hunt. But let's be honest here, it's us who interfere and step on their territory so... point taken.

Now, let skip to the good part. Uluwatu Temple is amazing and it was the first stop that showed us the beauty of balinese seaside. Breathtaking.

We granted ourselves a big portion of beautiful balinese culture watching a full show of Kenza dance. It's truthly amazing and adding to that the performance takes place on a beautiful terrace with sea view and sun slowly going down. Wonderful experience.

We also tried coconut for the first time here. And you know what time it is. It's the coconut time! Na na na na
